What does PACE do?

PACE is the short name for the Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem mission. This mission studies phytoplankton (a type of tiny algae), ocean color and measures atmospheric particles and clouds. PACE helps us understand ocean ecosystems, the ocean carbon cycle, and Earth’s climate.
