Application Deadline

Oct. 10, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET

The Science Mission Directorate is excited to introduce its first leadership development program designed specifically for NASA scientists.  As a pilot offering, NASA’s Leadership for Excellence, Advancement, and Diversity in the Sciences (LEADS) will focus on the development of civil servant scientists who have a high potential for assuming greater leadership roles. The 12-month, part-time cohort program will require in-person and virtual sessions.  Participants will also complete a capstone project.  NASA LEADS is open to all civil servant scientists from GS-13 through GS-15, including supervisors.

The first call for applicants to NASA LEADS is now open!
