D.19 Habitable Worlds Observatory System Technology Demonstrations and Mission Architecture Studies about ROSES-24: D.19 Habitable Worlds Observatory Final Text and Due Date

D.19 Habitable Worlds Observatory System Technology Demonstrations and Mission Architecture Studies (HWOTAS) solicits industry-led proposals to carry out (1) system-level critical technology demonstrations for ultra-stable observatories and/or (2) mission architecture studies for system-level ultra-stable observatory approaches for the Habitable Worlds Observatory.

ROSES-2024 Amendment 65 releases final text and due date for D.19 HWOTAS, which was previously released as draft for community comment. Neither Notices of Intent nor Step-1 pro-posals are requested for this program. Proposals are due 6 February 2025. Changes made between the draft and final are summarized in entry #1 in the FAQ posted under "other documents" on the NSPIRES page for this program element.
