Mayn River, Siberia

 

The Mayn River, seen here with what is thought to be a portion of the Anadyr River, flowsthrough the far northeastern corner of Siberia.

This image was acquired byLandsat 7's Enhanced Thematic Mapper plus(ETM+) sensor on October 25, 2000. This is a natural color composite image made using red, green,and blue wavelengths. The image has also been sharpened using the sensor'spanchromatic band.
