Much of the U.S. West entered 2015 under a blanket of snow. The storm even dusted the Southwest, including Arizona’s Grand Canyon. The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite acquired this image on January 1, 2015.
