With sustained winds near 112 km per hour (70 mph), Tropical Cyclone Japhet (19S) is thriving in the warm waters between Madagascar and Mozambique. This true-color image of the storm was acquired on February 27, 2003, by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard NASA's Aqua satellite.
