Virtual Magnetospheric Observatory (VMO, GSFC)

The Virtual Magnetospheric Observatory (VMO) is uniting a number of distributed repositories for magnetospheric data. VMO is a project within NASA's Heliophysics Data Environment and is maintained within the Heliospheric Physics Laboratory at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center and the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at University of California, UCLA. The VMO utilizes the SPASE data model and provides uniform metadata for magnetospheric data sets. A prominent feature of the VMO are various query interfaces, which provide uniform access to the distributed data sets within VMO.
