Messier 2: Amateur Image vs. Hubble Image
Messier 2 (M2) is a globular cluster located some 37,000 light-years away in the constellation Aquarius. Hubble's image of Messier 2 is comprised of visible and infrared wavelengths of light. The left image was taken with an 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope using a 0.63x focal reducer and a DSLR Camera. The right image was taken by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.
