NASA created a training presentation to help everyone share the science and safety about annular eclipses!

This training was designed to support NASA outreach at eclipse events or activities for the October 14, 2023 annular solar eclipse. While some information is specific to this particular eclipse, the training includes content that is relevant to general solar eclipse science and safety.

Download a PDF of the training below or for an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) version of the presentation follow this link to an optional survey, which Oregon State University, in partnership with the NASA Heliophysics Education Activation Team (NASA HEAT), will use to understand the impact of this training and help guide future development of education and training materials.

In addition to the PowerPoint (.pptx) version of this presentation, a Google Drive folder includes additional support materials including links to additional resources, sample questions to solicit feedback from your participants, and a question bank that will help you evaluate your eclipse activities and help NASA improve their educational resources.

Access the Annular Eclipse Training resources and take the survey here.
