NASA Inspires Futures for Tomorrow’s Youth (NIFTY)

In April, 2022, NASA announced the selection of several proposals, totaling $12 million over four years, to five organizations from across the country to bring NASA science to learners of all ages, backgrounds, and communities (learn more: https://go.nasa.gov/3IlmOFb). One such award, led by Principal Investigator Rita Karl, from Twin Cities Public Television in Saint Paul, Minnesota, will support the "NASA Inspires Futures for Tomorrow’s Youth" (NIFTY) project, which will focus on the power of networks to advance equity.

Learn more about how NIFTY, in partnership with the National Girls Collaborative, Space Science Institute, and NASA Langley Research Center, will broaden youth participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) studies by providing opportunities to interact with and learn from NASA STEM professionals in this Twin Cities Public Television press release, published July 1st, 2022: https://bit.ly/3AvKXH5

The NIFTY project is supported by NASA under cooperative agreement award number 80NSSC22M0123 and is part of NASA's Science Activation Portfolio. Learn more about the NASA Science Activation program: https://science.nasa.gov/learners
