Europa Clipper Mission Team

An illustration of Europa Clipper flying past Europa with Jupiter behind the moon, and the spacecraft.

Meet the Team

They're united by a lofty goal – to determine whether there are places below Jupiter’s icy moon, Europa, that could support life. Europa Clipper's scientists and engineers include many stars in the field of planetary exploration. Some came from leading roles in the flyby of Pluto by NASA's New Horizons mission. Several have worked together for decades, exploring Europa and other icy moons with NASA's Cassini, Galileo, and Voyager missions.

Dozens of people stand on a stair case in front of a glass building, looking towards the camera. They are posing for a team image, with some kneeling in front. They are framed on the top left and right be trees, with a blue sky in the distance. The image was taken at JPL in Pasadena, California.
Members of the Europa Clipper mission team pose for a group photo at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in November 2022.
