NASA has announced the 2015 awardees of the Hubble Fellowship program, the Sagan Fellowship program, and the Einstein Fellowship program. These 3-year NASA fellowships provide research opportunities for young scientists studying astrophysics.
“The fellows named today represent some of the best and brightest scientific minds of the next generation,” said Paul Hertz, director of Astrophysics at NASA Headquarters, Washington. “Their research will help shape our understanding of the universe and discover new worlds.”
The awardees were selected by an external panel of science research experts after a rigorous and highly competitive process. Applicants can be of any nationality, must apply within three years of receiving their Ph.D., and must serve at a U.S. host institution.
