Amendment 79: Increased Budget and Delay of Step-1 Proposal Due Date for B.16 Parker Solar Probe Guest Investigators

The Parker Solar Probe Guest Investigators (PSP-GI) program solicits proposals that focus on analysis of data from the PSP mission in the inner heliosphere. This program is intended to maximize the scientific return from the pioneering mission by providing support for research beyond presently funded investigations. Funded investigators (PIs and Co-Is) will be considered Guest Investigators of PSP for the duration of the award and will be invited to attend and present progress at PSP team meetings.

This amendment increases the expected annual budget for this program from $900K to $1900K and the Step-1 proposal due date has been delayed to February 3, 2021. The Step-2 proposal due date remains unchanged (at March 17, 2021).

On or about January 6, 2021, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2020" (NNH20ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2020.

Questions concerning B.16 PSP-GI or this amendment may be directed to Arik Posner at arik.posner@nasa.gov.
