Amendment 25: D.7 Strategic Astrophysics Technology Not Solicited This Year

Strategic Astrophysics Technology (SAT) program supports the maturation of key technologies for potential infusion into strategic space flight missions. Due to its strategic nature, SAT investments are intended to be responsive to 2020 Decadal Survey of Astronomy and Astrophysics recommendations, which are expected to be issued during the 2021 calendar year.

Thus, D.7 Strategic Astrophysics Technology, which was TBD, will not be solicited in ROSES-2020. This program will be solicited as part of ROSES-2021, with an expected deadline for NOIs in October 2021 and for proposals in December 2021.

On or about May 29, 2020, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2020" (NNH20ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2020 and will appear on SARA's ROSES blog at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2020/
