Coloring The Mariner 4 Image Data

While waiting for all of Mariner 4's image data to be received, processed and printed, engineers and science team members started "coloring by number" to make a color image of Mars. The Principal Investigator of Mariner 4's camera, Robert Leighton joins in, scanning the numbers for clues to what the first image of Mars might look like.
