A number of wildfires (red pixels) can be seen burning in the Okavango Delta, in northern Botswana, on March 31, 2002. This true-color image was acquired by the Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), flying aboard NASA’s Terra satellite.
