Caldwell 22: Amateur Image vs. Hubble Image

Caldwell 22 (C22) is a nebula located some 2,500 light-years away in the constellation Andromeda. Also called NGC 7662, Caldwell 22 is nicknamed the Snowball Nebula or Blue Snowball Nebula. The left image was taken with an 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope using a 0.63x focal reducer and a DSLR Camera. The right image was taken by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.
