Deep dark green forest surrounds a bright turquoise blue waters that make up Adam's Inlet, which is filled with random deposition peaks from former glacial activity that are also now covered in deep green foliage. The surrounding mountain valley's are full of a bright color sediment deposited by erosion of glaciers, rain, and meltwater. A very large sediment river empties into the inlet from the top of the image, from the bottom a smaller one creates a classic alluvial fan deposit formation in the inlet, and is already being claimed by foliage.
