In the sandy landscape of Egypt a canal in the upper left connects to a water treatment plant lower down. A highway runs mostly diagonal across the image from the upper left to the lower right, and very near to the plant. On either side of the Highway are circles of gridded new farmland with varying shades of darker tans in circular patterns from irrigation. Along the right side of the image there remain circular patterned fields of crops, but also many more dark rectangular fields of new farmland. The entire right edge of the image is covered in farmed land.
