PhysCOS at Astronomy on Tap

If you’re attending the American Astronomical Society Winter Meeting in New Orleans (AAS 243), please be aware of PhysCOS-organized or related events today, Saturday, 6 January 2024).

Please consider joining us for a special “Astronomy on Tap” evening, taking place in The Den at the Howlin’ Wolf, beginning at 7p Central. We’ll be enjoying two accessible science talks on topics related to Physics of the Cosmos (by Ryan Hickox, Dartmouth University) and Cosmic Origins (by Rachael Beaton, STScI), as well as a trivia game, with prizes for audience participation.

Full details on this, including times, locations, and agendas, can be found on our AAS webpage, as well as a selection of other PhysCOS-relevant sessions at AAS.
