The MODIS instrument onboard NASA’s Terra satellite captured this true-color image of Hurricanes Nora (center) and Olaf (left) on October 5, 2003. At the time this image was taken Nora had maximum sustained winds near 85 mph, while Olaf was just tipping the hurricane scale with sustained winds of 75 mph.
