With sustained winds near 83 km per hour (52 mph), Tropical Cyclone 21S is located approximately 575 miles north-northwest of Learmonth, Australia and is moving towards the east at 15 km per hour (9 mph) This true-color image of the storm was acquired on March 3, 2003, by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard NASA's Terra satellite. The high-resolution image available here is 1000 meters per pixel. Visit the MODIS Rapid Response Team, for a copy of this scene at MODIS' full resolution of 250 meters per pixel.
