Window Observational Research Facility

 

The Space Shuttle Atlantis landed today (February 20, 2001) after a 13day mission. During this flight, the shuttle astronauts installed anew science module, the Destiny Laboratory, on the International Space Station. Thelaboratory features an earth-observing window with the highestquality optics ever flown on a human-occupied spacecraft. An astronaut shows offthe window in the course of a video tour of the interior of the space station. [larger MPEG (4.5MB)]
