About SWxPO

The Space Weather Program Office (SWxPO), hosted at NASA Langley Research Center in Virginia, is led by an experienced program management team tasked with facilitating NASA’s Research to Operations to Research (R2O2R) grant projects, working closely with the Space Weather Program at NASA Headquarters, and making Space Weather a more user-friendly topic for anyone interested in learning more about the science. R2O2R solicits and invests in research through an open and competitive solicitation process that provides grants to universities, corporations, and other institutions to explore new models to predict space weather activities and to understand space weather effects on Earth’s infrastructure, technology, and people.
