Amendment 35: Five Physical Sciences Topics Not Solicited This Year.

Solicitation plans for BPS Physical Sciences are under review. Apart from E.8 Physical Sciences Informatics, scheduled to be released mid-September, there will be no new solicitations of Physical Sciences from the Biological and Physical Sciences Division in ROSES-2021. Plans for future solicitations will be determined by budget availability and recommendations from the Decadal Survey that is now underway.

Specifically, five Physical Sciences topics (Program Elements E.2 Biophysics, E.3 Complex Fluids, E.4 Combustion Science, E.5 Fluid Physics, and E.7 Materials Science) which had previously been listed as TBD, will not be solicited in ROSES this year. These will now appear as "not solicited this year" in Tables 2 and 3 of ROSES-2021.

On or about September 14, 2021, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2021" (NNH21ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2021 and will appear on SARA's ROSES blog at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2021/

Questions regarding these program elements of ROSES maybe directed to the points of contact given in the program elements and on the web at
