Hand-Drawn Image and Actual First TV Image, Compared

The finished hand-drawn version of the first TV image has been compressed and arranged side by side by the actual first image after it was processed and printed. The hand-drawn image captured the edge of Mars, the darkness of space, even some wispy clouds hovering above the planet.
