Sol 0587: Mast-Mounted Navigation Camera, Cylindrical Perspective

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity took 12 image pairs in Gale Crater using its mast-mounted Navigation Camera (Navcam) to create this mosaic. The seam-corrected mosaic provides a 360-degree cylindrical perspective projection panorama of the Martian surface suitable for stereo viewing, centered at 89 degrees azimuth (measured clockwise from north). This anaglyph must be viewed with red/blue glasses (red over left eye). Curiosity took the images on April 01, 2014, Sol 587 of the Mars Science Laboratory mission at drive 938, site number 30.
