Amendment 31: New Opportunity in ROSES-12 via Appendix C.27, LADEE Guest Investigator Program
This amendment creates a new opportunity in ROSES 2012 under Appendix C.27, the LADEE Guest Investigator Program. Notices of Intent are requested by February 22, 2013, and proposals are due by March 29, 2013.
ROSES-12 Amendment 30: Final text for Appendix A.36, Eco Forcasting
This Amendment releases final text for Appendix A.36, Earth Science Applications: Ecological Forecasting for Conservation and Natural Resource Management. Notices of Intent are requested by February 14, 2013 and Proposals are due April 18, 2013.
ROSES-12 Amendment 29: Increase in Scope for Appendix D.3 APRA
This amendment permits proposals for development of new data analysis methods for future space missions to APRA, see Section 1.2, and also corrects dates for Sounding Rocket launches from Woomera, see Section 1.2.1.1. The due date for notices of intent and proposals remain unchanged at January 29, 2013, and March 22, 2013, respectively.
ROSES-12 Amendment 28: The Applied Science Programs, Appendices A.37-39 are being moved to ROSES-13
In February with the release of ROSES 2012 the following three Applied Sciences calls were presented as placeholders: Appendix A.37, Water Resources Applied Sciences Team, Appendix A.38, Health and Air Quality, and Appendix A.39, Cross-cutting Topics. All three of these programs will be solicited as part of ROSES-13, not ROSES-12.
Clarifications/Corrections to Appendix A.24, the Soil Moisture Active-Passive Mission Science Team
A number of changes have been made to the text of Appendix A.24, The Soil Moisture Active-Passive Mission Science Team. The due date for proposals remains unchanged at February 1, 2013.
Amendment 27: Change of Scope and Points of Contact for Appendix D.8, Strategic Astrophysics Technology
Amendment 27 makes a number of small changes to the text of Appendix D.8 SAT. The due date for notices of intent to propose and proposals remain unchanged at January 25, 2013, and March 22, 2013, respectively.
Amendment 26: Final text for Appendix A.31, Interdisciplinary Research in Earth Science
Amendment 26 presents final text for Appendix A.31, Interdisciplinary Research in Earth Science. Notices of Intent are requested by March 1, 2013, and proposals are due by April 1, 2013.
Amendment 25: Change of Scope and POCs for Appendix D.3 APRA
Amendment 25 defers until ROSES-13 the portion of this solicitation on Laboratory Astrophysics proposals of potentially larger scope that address the acquisition of data for understanding the molecular universe at infrared and submillimeter wavelengths. This amendment also changes several of the points of contact.
Amendment 24: The Heliophysics Living With a Star Programs, Appendices B.6 and B.7 moved to ROSES-13
Living with a Star (LWS) Targeted Research and Technology (TR&T) Program (Appendix B.6) and LWS TR&T: Strategic Capability (Appendix B.7) are being moved to ROSES-13. Draft text for next year’s version of Appendix B.6 is presented in ROSES 2012 as a courtesy to potential proposers. We anticipate that the due date for required Step-1 proposals will be March 1, 2013, and the due date for Step-2 proposals will be May 1, 2013.
Amendment 23: New opportunity via Appendix D.13: Kepler Participating Scientist Program
We present a new opportunity via Appendix D.13: Kepler Participating Scientist Program. The Kepler PSP is complementary to, but distinct from, the Kepler Guest Observer (GO) program. Notices of intent are requested by January 18, 2013, and the due date for proposals is March 1, 2013.
