Dust continued to blow across northern Africa and the Mediterranean Sea on March 3, 2005. In this image from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite, dust stretches northeastward from Libya and Egypt all the way to the island of Cyprus (upper right).
