High-Resolution Imager Replacement (HIREP) Measurement Definition Team (MDT)
Recognizing the continued need for high-resolution surface imaging as well as the finite lifespan of the existing HiRISE camera, the Mars Exploration Program (MEP) is anticipating replacing or supplementing existing assets with imaging capabilities that can be used in support of the robotic and human exploration of Mars.
To provide information to the MEP about priority measurements and capabilities of such an imager, a High-Resolution Imager Replacement (HIREP) Measurement Definition Team (MDT) is being convened.Honeycomb-textured landforms in northwestern Hellas Planitia.NASA/JPL-Caltech/Univ. of Arizona -
