Presentation | Grades 6-12+ | This presentation by Dr. Kevin Reardon of University of Colorado Boulder covers solar research programs at the National Solar Observatory (NSO), as well as educational outreach initiatives. Reardon described research with continuous global solar observations, long-term solar cycle tracking, and scientific breakthroughs with the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST) located on Maui. Tishanna Ben described community outreach, collaborations with local cultural groups, and classroom visits.
