AAS 249: Abstract Deadline Extended to 5 October

30 September 2026

The abstract deadline for the 249th AAS meeting has been extended to Monday, 5 October 2026 at 11:59p Eastern (8:59p Pacific). Submit Your Abstract Today!

When you submit your abstract, you'll be asked to choose between an iPoster or a paper poster. Make this decision before you submit, since it can't be changed later.

If you’re planning to submit an iPoster, you can learn all about the process in this short video tutorial from AAS member Dr. Ronald Gamble.

Students: If you want to enter the Chambliss Student Poster Competition, your poster abstract is due by the same 5 October deadline. Note that only iPosters are eligible for the competition; paper posters cannot compete.

If you have any questions, contact the AAS meetings team at (202) 328-2010 or meetings@aas.org.
