Join us for a PhysPAG community meeting to discuss the results of the Ad ASTRA workshop, held 1-3 September 2026 at Caltech, and the Physics of the Cosmos Program Analysis Group (PhysPAG) Executive Committee’s initial assessment of the science priorities and capabilities emerging from it. We’ll briefly summarize the workshop and discuss the major science questions and capabilities that are driving our thinking as the three PAGs work toward the set of 4-6 trade spaces for further study. But most importantly, we want to hear from you.

What are we missing? What major science questions or capabilities are not adequately represented in the Astro2020 and Enduring Quests, Daring Visions [PDF] reports, or were not discussed in the Ad Astra Workshop? Are there capabilities that PhysPAG should consider essential to achieving its highest-priority science goals? And, as we work with COPAG and ExoPAG to develop the final set of trade spaces, what must PhysPAG advocate for?
