Messier 15: Amateur Image vs. Hubble Image
Messier 15 (M15) is a globular star cluster located some 33,600 light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. M15 is host to an intermediate-mass black hole at its core. The left image was taken with an 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope using a 0.63x focal reducer and a DSLR Camera. The right image was taken by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.
