Behind the Scenes: Hubble at NASA Goddard

During the test of a new pointing mode on June 16, 2020, systems engineer Steve Sands serves as the test conductor in the control center at Goddard, ensuring that the commanding and associated activities go as planned. The control room is normally filled with subsystem engineers during such a test. During the pandemic, only Steve and Morgan (pictured above) occupy the room while the engineers monitor from home.
