High-Resolution Imager Replacement (HIREP) Measurement Definition Team (MDT)
Recognizing the continued need for high-resolution surface imaging as well as the finite lifespan of the existing HiRISE camera, the Mars Exploration Program (MEP) is anticipating replacing or supplementing existing assets with imaging capabilities that can be used in support of the robotic and human exploration of Mars.

SkyFall Landing Site Selection Workshops
The First Landing Site Workshop (LSW) for the SkyFall mission to Mars will be held virtually, Feb. 9-10, 2027, and will be the first of two science-focused workshops to identify potential landing sites and adjacent exploration zones of high scientific value that satisfy the engineering constraints imposed by the project and spacecraft design.

Mars Surface Science Workshops
Designed to create an avenue for organized community involvement and participation in planning the human exploration of Mars, and to generate referenceable content relevant to the conduct of science by robotic and human explorers on the surface of Mars.
