Amendment 25: Final text and due dates for E.6 Fundamental Physics
The current area of focus for E.6 Fundamental Physics is cold atom physics, the application of cold atom technologies to research in quantum science and general relativity. This program element seeks proposals in two categories: 1) flight experiments to be performed with the Cold Atom Laboratory facility aboard the International Space Station and 2) ground-based theory and experimental research that supports the development of concepts for future space experiments with ultracold atoms.
ROSES-2022 Amendment 25 releases final text and due dates for E.6 Fundamental Physics, which had previously been TBD. A two-step process will be used for proposal submission, in which only proposers that submit a Step-1 proposal will be eligible to submit a Step-2 proposal. Step-1 proposals are due July 19, 2022, and Step-2 proposals are due September 16, 2022.
On or about June 17, 2022, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2022" (NNH22ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2022.
Questions concerning E.6 Fundamental Physics should be directed to bcarpenter@nasa.gov and NASA-FP@nasaprs.com.
