Amendment 4: B.7 Space Weather Science Application Research-to-Operations-to-Research Final Text and due dates.

The primary goal of the Space Weather Science Application Research-to-Operations-to-Research (SWR2O2R) program is to support research to improve numerical models, technologies, and data utilization techniques that could advance specification and/or forecasting capabilities and which could also lead to improved scientific understanding. The two application-oriented areas of focus for this opportunity are:

  • High-Latitude Radiation Exposure and Impacts on Avionics and Air Travel.
  • Downstream Updating of Solar Wind and CME Forecasts.

ROSES-2022 Amendment 4 releases final text for B.7 SWR2O2R. Step-1 proposals are due April 12, 2022, and Step-2 proposals June 14, 2022.

On or about March 8, 2022, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2022" (NNH22ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2022
