ROSES-23 Amendment 3: New TBD Placeholder Added: GEDI Science Team

NASA launched the Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) instrument to the International Space Station (ISS) in late 2018. Via ROSES-2023 A.60 GEDI Science Team NASA intends to solicit proposals for studies that use GEDI data to address key scientific questions in terrestrial ecology, carbon cycle science, and biodiversity. Selected principal investigators will become members of the GEDI Science Team.

ROSES-23 Amendment 3 adds to ROSES-2023 a "TBD" placeholder for a new program element: A.60 GEDI Science Team. The final text and the proposal due date for this program element will be released via a ROSES amendment no fewer than 90 days in advance of the proposal due date.

On or about March 6, 2023, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2023" (NNH23ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2023 and will appear on SARA's ROSES blog at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2023/

Questions concerning A.60 GEDI Science Team may be directed to Michael Falkowski at Michael.Falkowski@nasa.gov and Hank Margolis at Hank.A.Margolis@nasa.gov.
