Amendment 49: B.21 Heliophysics Citizen Science Investigations Final Text and Due Dates.

B.21 Heliophysics Citizen Science Investigations (H-CSI) program supports the growing portfolio of citizen science opportunities through medium-scale citizen science projects.

H-CSI expands participation of citizen scientists in NASA heliophysics research, bringing unprecedented statistical power and new insights not realistically achievable by other means. This call solicits investigations that would develop and implement capabilities to augment and enhance NASA scientific data, knowledge, and capacity through voluntary observations, interpretations, or other direct participation by members of the general public centered on heliophysics science.

ROSES-2023 Amendment 49 releases final text and due dates for B.21 H-CSI. Step-1 proposals are due by November 15, 2023, and Step-2 proposals are due January 26, 2024.

On or about September 26 2023, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2023" (NNH23ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2023

Questions concerning B.21 H-CSI may be directed to Susanna Finn at susanna.c.finn@nasa.gov and Janet Kozyra at janet.kozyra@nasa.gov.
