Amendment 44: A.32 Precipitation Measurements Mission and CloudSat and Calipso Science Team Recompete Final Text and Due Dates

A.32 Precipitation Measurements Mission and CloudSat and Calipso Science Team Recompete solicits investigations associated with the Precipitation Measurements Mission (PMM) and the CALIPSO/CloudSat (CC) Science Teams (ST). While solicitations for these science teams have been independent in the past, changes in instrument status and programmatic goals for the two science teams have led to a more unified approach, while still retaining some independence due to continuing differences in science and applications goals. Primarily PMM investigations are solicited in Section 2.1, Primarily CALIPSO/CloudSat investigations are solicited in Section 2.2, and fully integrated investigations are solicited in Section 2.3.

ROSES-2024 Amendment 44 releases final text and due dates for A.32 PMM and CC ST. Notices of intent are requested by October 11, 2024, and proposals are due November 20, 2024.

Proposals submitted to this program will be evaluated using a dual-anonymous review process. Proposals must be prepared according to the guidelines in Section 5 and in the associated "Guidelines for Anonymous Proposals" document under "Other Documents" on the NSPIRES page for this program element.

On or about August 19, 2024, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2024" (NNH24ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2024.
