F.13 Lunar Terrain Vehicle Instruments Clarification and FAQ Update

F.13 Lunar Terrain Vehicle Instruments (LTVI) program element solicits proposals for investigations that include development and flight of stand-alone, science-driven instruments substantially enabled by unpressurized mobility on the lunar surface. Payloads selected through this program element will be integrated onto the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) and then delivered with the LTV to the south polar region of the Moon (within 6o latitude of the South Pole) in advance of the Artemis V mission.

October 4, 2024. Text has been added to Section 3.1.1 of F.13 Lunar Terrain Vehicle Instruments to provide additional guidance on identifying deputy PI roles and responsibilities. This change will be discussed at the preproposal telecon October 8, 2024, 3:00 pm Eastern Time, see Section 2.8 of the F.13 LTV-I program element text (PDF) for details The Frequently Asked Questions (.PDF) have also been updated. New text is in bold. The due dates remain unchanged: Step-1 proposals are due October 23, 2024, and Step-2 proposals are due December 23, 2024.
