NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity has extended its robotic arm for studying a light-toned rock target called "Athens" in this image from the rover's front hazard avoidance camera.
The camera recorded this image during the 3,970th Martian day, or sol, of Opportunity's work on Mars (March 25, 2015). This camera is mounted low on the rover and has a wide-angle lens.
