Sol 0060: Right Navigation Camera, Cylindrical Perspective

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity took 36 images in Gale Crater using its mast-mounted Right Navigation Camera (Navcam) to create this mosaic. The seam-corrected mosaic provides a 360-degree cylindrical-perspective projection panorama of the Martian surface suitable for stereo viewing, centered at 254 degrees azimuth (measured clockwise from north). This single-eye view must be combined with the partner left image to be viewed in stereo. Curiosity took the images on October 06, 2012, Sols 59-60 of the Mars Science Laboratory mission at drive 104, site number 5. The local mean solar time for the image exposures was from 2 PM to 12 PM.
