Sol 1949: Right Navigation Camera, Cylindrical Perspective

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity took 18 images in Gale Crater using its mast-mounted Right Navigation Camera (Navcam) to create this mosaic. The seam-corrected mosaic provides a 0-degree cylindrical-perspective projection panorama of the Martian surface suitable for stereo viewing, centered at 174 degrees azimuth (measured clockwise from north). This single-eye view must be combined with the partner left image to be viewed in stereo.  Curiosity took the images on January 30, 2018, Sol 1949 of the Mars Science Laboratory mission at drive 0, site number 68. The local mean solar time for the image exposures was 2 PM.
