Tina Harte, NASA Langley Research Center, collaborated with Camp Discovery, Blythewood SC, this spring to create a NASA Citizen Science Educator Cohort of 20 formal and informal educators. Each member of the cohort completed GLOBE Training in clouds, trees, and surface temperature data collection. As part of the educator experience, each participant was responsible for planning how they will implement GLOBE during the summer and/or fall of 2021 in their camp and/or classroom. On April 30, each member of the cohort shared their implementation plans during a hybrid festival (with both in-person and virtual participation connection options) as the culminating event of their citizen science collaboration. This activity is part of the NASA Earth Science Collaborative (NESEC).
