This set of four activities were used during the April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse outreach event at the Dallas Arboretum in Dallas, TX. The activities were chosen for their high engagement factor and affordability of materials.
Each activity includes a how-to video and a file containing a "Tabletop Display" which can be printed and displayed to engage participants visually in the activities at the table. The Tabletop Display includes quick instructions on how to do the activity and includes NASA images, key science concepts, and talking points for communicators to use to engage participants.
