2023 Webb Science Snippets: Exoplanets

How is the James Webb Space Telescope furthering our knowledge about planets beyond our own solar system?

Caroline Piaulet from the University of Montreal, Luis Welbanks from Arizona State University, and Nikku Madhusudhan from the University of Cambridge share with us that the great diversity among exoplanets inspires may different types of inquiries—from whether Earth is one of a kind to what water worlds are like. Their research was presented at The First Year of JWST Science Conference, held September 11-14, 2023, at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.
