HEASARC Website Offline for Upgrades

27 October 2026

The High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) website is currently offline while we perform necessary upgrades to address PHP security vulnerabilities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the security and reliability of our systems.

While our website is unavailable, you can continue to access HEASARC data through our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Open Data Repository:

We are working diligently to complete these critical security upgrades and restore full website functionality as quickly as possible. We will send a follow-up notification once the HEASARC website is back online.

If you have trouble with accessing data via HARK please submit an issue on the HARK GitHub issues page.
