Geospatial Super Intelligence for Applications Development

NASA Earth Action advances the application of geospatial super intelligence (GeoSI) for decision support. Earth Action is investing in GeoSI to broaden access, speed development, and lower computational costs for applying Earth observations to complex, user-driven challenges. GeoSI encompasses a rapidly evolving ecosystem of computational approaches including machine learning, Earth observation foundation models, and emerging agentic SI systems. Collectively, these tools can enable users to transform growing volumes of Earth data into actionable information to address real-world challenges.

The GeoSI program fosters collaborative work among SI developers, Earth scientists, application experts, and decision-makers. These collaborations aim to translate emerging GeoSI capabilities into robust, accessible, and operational tools that address the needs of end users.
